Scouting Report

A 5-foot-11, 190-pound infielder and left-handed pitcher with a medium, strong frame. Quality defender with soft hands, fluid footwork, quick and clean exchange, and plays through balls athletically. Short, loose arm action into high-3/4 release with accuracy and carry on throws that produced a positional velocity of 79 mph. Left-handed hitter that hits from balanced, athletic setup, smooth load, leg kick and explosive lower half. Gap to gap, power type hitter with fluid rhythm, level path and explosive bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 99 mph. Also posted a 4.5 home to 1st.

PBR: What schools have you been hearing from?
 Beloso: I’ve been hearing from schools such as: Arkansas, Houston, Alabama, Tulane, and Southern Miss.

PBR: Have you developed a relationship with any specific coaches?
Beloso: I have developed a very nice relationship with Coach Vitello and Coach Van Horn from Arkansas, Coach Couch and Whitting from Houston, Coach Jewett from Tulane and Coach Caillet from Southern Miss.

PBR: Have you taken any unofficial visits? If so, please describe each visit.
Beloso: I have taken two unofficial visits to Arkansas and Houston. Both were similar in which I toured the facilities and campus with the coaches and got to see the ins and outs of how their program runs.

PBR: Do you have any visits scheduled?
Beloso: No, as of right now I don’t have any visits scheduled, but I will try to visit Tulane and Southern Miss by the end of the summer.

PBR: Do you have any offers at this stage?
Beloso: I have two offers right now at this stage.

PBR: Do you have a timeline for your recruitment?
Beloso: I would like to try and make a decision by the end of the summer, so I can focus on improving my skills and have a really strong fall.

PBR: Do you have a favorite at this stage?  
Beloso: I would say Arkansas is the favorite at this point I love what their program is about and what they are trying to do.

PBR: GPA/ACT?
Beloso: My GPA is a 4.0. I have not taken the ACT yet, but will do so in the fall.

PBR: What showcases or events have been most meaningful to your recruitment thus far?
Beloso: The Marucci Classic in New Orleans really sparked my recruiting, followed by any PBR showcases. Two more things that really helped me as far recruiting was the Under Armour Classic at the IMG Academy that PBR was a part of as well, and the WWBA in Georgia.
