Andrew Prejean RHP / SS / Holy Savior Menard, LA / 2023Rankings StateRank: 68 / POS: 12
Prejean has been throwing the ball really well all year for the Eagles and last week was no different. The Meridian Community College recruit made a start last week vs. Iowa and turned in one of his best outings of the spring by tossing a complete game no-hitter with 9 K's. Holy Savior Menard currently owns a 23-7 overall record and they finished district with a 10-0 record, on route to winning the district 4-2A title. |

Maddox Mandino OF / LHP / Glenbrook , LA / 2023Rankings StateRank: 21 / POS: 3
Mandino has been performing at a high level since he stepped on campus for the Apaches a few years ago. Last week, the University of Louisiana recruit went 7-8 (.875) at the plate with 3 2B, 2 HR, 1 3B, 10 R, and 4 RBI. In addition to his offense, Mandino also earned a win on the mound after tossing 3 no-hitting innings of baseball with 8 K's. |

The Liberty football recruit has enjoyed a good senior campaign on the diamond and the success continued in Week 8. For the week, Newman went 7-12 (.583 AVG) at the plate with 3 2B, 2 R, and 5 RBI. |

Landenn Smith LHP / 1B / David Thibodaux STEM , LA / 2023The uncommitted southpaw earned the win on the mound vs. Covenant Christian last week. Smith went the distance, throwing a complete game and gave up 3 H and 1 ER with 2 BB and 4 K’s. |

Grayson Johnson RHP / 2B / Bell City, LA / 2023Rankings StateRank: 148 / POS: 25
In 2 games last week, Johnson went 4-9 (.444 AVG) at the plate with a RBI. He also earned a win on the mound against Episcopal of Acadiana, after tossing 5 innings and giving up only 2 H and 0 ER with 1 BB and 11 K’s. |

McFerren collected a whopping 18 hits on the week, which was good for a .783 AVG, that included 4 2B, 2 3B, and 9 RBI. |

He earned a no-decision against Ascension Catholic after tossing 6 innings of no-hit baseball with 3 BB and 11 K’s. |
