QUICK HITS

2023 OF Donovan Lasalle (Barbe HS) is a newcomer to the circuit. We were aware of him but now that we’ve had a chance to see him a few times this kid can play. Looks to be an average runner with big arm strength and easy power potential in the bat. Fits the right-field profile with a possible move to center as the run tool progresses.

2023 OF Nolan Norris (West Monroe HS) is a player that we’re excited to follow. Young outfielder with a smooth left-handed swing. Flash pull side strength during batting practice driving baseballs deep into right field.

2024 INF Wesley Carr (Mandeville HS) is another young player that has shown big potential. Right-handed hitting infielder with nice infield actions and developing arm strength. Bat is advanced as he has shown pull side power potential in a compact, repeatable swing.

2022 INF/RHP Gavyn Menard (Southside HS) athletic middle guy with twitch. Average runner with solid defensive tools and average arm strength. Compact right-handed swing with sneaky pop.

2022 INF Tyler Fitch (Dunham HS) had another big day at the Underclass Trials. The athletic defender was able to turn heads with not only his clean actions but also with big arm strength across the infield.

2022 C Henton Roberts (Neville HS) had a nic showing on Tuesday. His physical tools are continuously developing as his arm strength and bat speed have improved. Looking forward to watching more in game to see how the toolset translates.

2023 C Sam Eppinette (Fountainebleau HS) is a physical framed catcher that continues to show his value behind the dish. Solid receiver that continues to develop showing an ability to stop the baseball and steal strikes at the bottom of the zone. Still ironing out swing mechanics but consistently shows strength at contact with present power potential.

2024 1B/LHP Trey Hawsey (West Monroe HS) another strong framed youngster. First base profile with big present strength in a physical left-handed swing. Also worked out on the mound where the southpaw flashed average command of a 3 pitch mix.

2022 1B/OF Sully Stringer (Brother Martin HS) is an impressive player with a strong corner outfield/first base profile. Long, strong frame that can hold strength and size as he continues to advance. Average run tool with present strength in a physical right handed swing with looseness and extension through contact.

2023 OF Barnes Williamson (Riverfield HS) another young athlete that continues to progress. Long, strong frame with present, visible strength in build. Good runner with arm strength and above average strength in swing for his age. Tooled up and his progression moving forward will determine where the advanced skill set takes him.
