On Tuesday, June 14, 38 prospects from across the state of Louisiana participated in the Prep Baseball Report Southwest Louisiana Open at Quality Sports Authority in Erath, LA.

Today, Prep Baseball Report Louisiana takes a look at the infielders that were in attendance.

Infielders

+ Ryan Daly, Ben Franklin HS(2017)
A 5-foot-11, 160-pound infielder with a lean, athletic frame. Quality athlete that posted a 4.29 home to 1st time. Solid defender with average hands, fluid footwork, clean exchanges, and plays through balls athletically. Short arm action into high-3/4 release with some accuracy on throws that produced a positional velocity of 74 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from a crouch, smooth load, and short stride. Line-drive, pull type hitter with some rhythm, short, slightly uphill path and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 81 mph.

+ Cameron DeBate, Denham Springs HS(2017)
A 5-foot-5, 147-pound infielder with a small, athletic frame. Solid defender with soft hands, fluid footwork, clean exchanges, and plays through balls athletically. Long arm action into high-3/4 release with some accuracy and carry on throws that produced a positional velocity of 73 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from balanced, athletic setup, no load, leg kick, and explosive lower half. Line-drive type hitter with some rhythm, and short, compact path. Quality athlete that posted a 4.12 home to 1st time.

+ Christian Garcia, Northshore HS(2019)
A 5-foot-10, 150-pound infielder with a lean, athletic frame. Solid defender with average hands, fluid footwork, clean exchanges, and plays through balls athletically. Long arm action into high-3/4 release with some accuracy on throws that produced a positional velocity of 71 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from balanced, athletic setup, smooth load, leg kick and quality balance. Line-drive, gap to gap type hitter with fluid rhythm, short, level path and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 86 mph. Also posted a 4.28 home to 1st time.

+ Bradley Gray, Berwick HS(2017)
A 6-foot, 170-pound infielder with a strong, athletic frame. Quality defender with soft hands, fluid footwork, clean exchanges, and plays through athletically. Short arm action into high-3/4 release with some accuracy on throws that produced a positional velocity of 76 mph. Right-handed hitter that hits from a balanced, athletic setup, smooth load, and short stride. Line-drive, pull type hitter with fluid rhythm, short path and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 85 mph. Also posted a 4.25 home to 1st.
