Southwest LA Open: Stats Posted

The Southwest Louisiana Open took place on Tuesday June 14, at the Quality Sports Authority in Erath, LA. The open event saw 38 prospects from the 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 classes.

INF Chance Stone (Sulphur HS) ran a 4.15 home to 1st, showed a simple, strong left-handed swing with strength and bat speed, as well as quality arm strength across.

INF Scott Jones (Sulphur HS) showed quality athleticism posting a 4.10 home to 1st, and showed looseness, and bat speed from the right side.

RHP Cameron Wiley (Berwick HS) opened eyes on the mound, as he showed a loose, whippy arm and ran his fastball up to 86 mph with tilt, angle, and life.
