At the top, retaining his No. 1 ranking again is Louisiana State recruit, SS Cade Doughty (Denham Springs HS, LA). Doughty has been the top-ranked prospect in Louisiana’s 2019 class dating all the way back to the initial release of the list in August of 2016. Since then the physical right-handed hitting shortstop has made waves on the national stage, and performed at high-level during the nation’s biggest events.

RHP Thomas Wilhite (West Ouachita HS, LA) retains the No. 2 ranking, as Wilhite represented Louisiana at the prestigious Super60 in February. The physical 6-foot-4 right-hander was electric in his bullpen session, running his fastball up to 95 mph at the event.

Ole Miss recruit, RHP Drew McDaniel (St. Thomas More HS, LA) checks in at No. 3 in the updated list, as the athletic 6-foot-2 right-hander has created plenty of buzz this spring, running his fastball up to 94 mph. McDaniel came onto the scene during the winter of 2017, with an outstanding performance at Bayou Preseason ID. He continued to skyrocket up the rankings in the following months, showing premium stuff for the Louisiana Knights in the summer, and then turning in a top performance for Louisiana’s Future Games team.

Checking in at No. 4 is Louisiana State recruit, OF Wes Toups (ED White HS, LA). The left-handed hitter has proven to be one of the top defenders in the state over the years, with easy, natural skills in centerfield. The strong 6-foot, 170-pounder is an above average runner with quick-twitch actions, that has posted a 6.65-secoond 60-yard dash time.

The top-ranked backstop, C Alex Milazzo (Zachary HS; Louisiana State recruit) checks-in at No. 4 in the updated list. Milazzo bursted onto the scene in the summer of 2016 at the Underclass Showcase. He would eventually make his way on to Louisiana’s 2017 Future Games squad, where it became clear he was one of the premier defensive catchers in the country. Since then he’s continued to consistently display that elite defend tool for the Zachary Broncos, and dazzled at the USA Baseball Tournament of the Stars this past summer.

Another Louisiana representive at the Super60, C Hayden Travinski (Airline HS, LA) checks in at No. 6. The physical 6-foot-3 right-handed hitter has been a mainstay atop the class of 2019 rankings, as the future Tiger has shown off elite-level power over his high school career. His power was on full display at the Super60, while he also showed off premium arm strength behind the dish, posting a positional velocity of 85 mph and a pop time of 1.87-seconds at the event.

Louisiana State recruit, SS Collier Cranford (Zachary HS, LA) comes in at No. 7 in the updated list. Another member of Louisiana’s 2017 Future Games squad, Cranford has created plenty of buzz around the state over the past 12 months. A premium defender at shortstop from the beginning of his career at Zachary, he’s turned into a force offensively, as the right-handed hitter has add strength and size to his 6-foot frame, driving the baseball with authority, while also showing off blazing speed on the basepaths.

New Orleans recruit, RHP Antoine Harris (Chalmette HS, LA) checks-in at No. 8, as the 6-foot-3 right-hander, and Future Games Alumnus, is one of the top pitching prospects in the state. Harris was impressive this past summer at the Area Code Games, where he ran his fastball up to 93 mph, and flashed a slider with some sharpness at 75-77 mph.

Louisiana Lafayette recruit, SS Carson Jones (West Monroe HS, LA), and South Alabama recruit, OF Carter Quinn (Barbe HS, LA) round out the top ten at Nos. 9 and 10 respectively.
