2023 PITCHER OF THE WEEK

The Louisiana High School Pitcher of the Week highlights the best individual pitching performance for a Louisiana high school player from the previous week.  Each week, high school coaches are emailed and asked to send in their nominees for Pitcher and Player of the Week.  If you wish to nominate someone for Player or Pitcher of the Week, please email Alex Armand at [email protected]

While there can only be one pitcher and player of the week, our Diamond Notes are intended to shine a spotlight on other noteworthy performances from the previous week.

2023 RHP Hayden robinson (berwick hs)

 

 

Week 2 Stats

-Innings Pitched: 7

-Earned Runs: 0

-Hits: 0

-Strikeouts: 13

-Walks: 2

 

The former Future Gamer was a 1st team All-State selection as a junior last season, and he seems to be picking up right where he left off a season ago.  The Nicholls State University signee got the ball in a big matchup last week against Iowa HS and turned in a brilliant performance.  Robinson threw a complete game no-hitter with 13 K’s and only 2 BB.
