We would like to thank all who participated in The PBR New England 2019 Scout Day: Noreaster. This was a great opportunity for 2020-2022 prospects to be put on college recruiting boards. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase.

2019 Scout Day: Noreaster - Sneak Peek

Evan Blanco LHP / OF / Austin Prepatory School, MA / 2022

Report: 5-foot-11, 175-pound left-handed pitcher. Good looking young arm, very advanced for his age. The fastball touched 85 mph, arm side run to the pitch. Showed good control of the fastball. The spin pitch is legit, slurvy in action, sitting at 73-75 mph. The changeup is a work in progress, sitting 78-79 mph, a tick to hard and needs a spin fix. The delivery is online with the feet, slighly above ¾ in slot. The delivery is repeated, tracking done well. The glove side is posted, minimal action to it. The lift has coil at the top, and the posture is good all the way to foot strike. High level follow.
