Player Name:  Blake Dougherty
Primary Position:  OF
High School: Boonsboro
Grad Year:  2016

Scouting Report

6.24.15 - Long athletic frame at 6-foot-2 180-pounds.  Has a loose arm action from a high ¾ arm slot in the outfield.  Makes consistent throws with some carry on them at 81 mph.  Shows fluid footwork average hands, and a clean exchange. At the plate the left handed hitter hits from a balanced setup with a smooth load, short stride and some balance in swing.  Show quick hands with a level bat path. That gets around the ball at times. Gap-to-gap type hitter with an exit velocity of 74 mph.  Projectable frame that as shortens his swing and gets in a consistent hitting position could be a prospect to keep an eye on.
