SCOUTING REPORT

7.21.15 - Solid frame at 5-foot-11 195-pounds. Hits from an athletic set up with a smooth load and short stride. Level bat path with some extension through contact. Slightly uphill at times in swing. Occasional drift in hips, but good balance throughout. Nice rhythm in swing and has an exit velocity of 83 mph. Quiet behind the plate. Sticks ball well. Sound footwork behind the plate. Quick exchange from low point to a short and quick arm action. Velocity of 71 mph which translated to a 2.06 pop time. Ran a 7.62 60-yard dash.
