Season Outlook
Huntingtown will have plenty of new faces at new positions for the 2016 season. Graduated are 10 seniors from the 2015 squad which includes Nick Gardner, Tim Hand, Danny Johnson, Brian McCourt, and Tim Schug. Offensively, Seniors AJ Demino, Danny Goucher, and Andrew Pawlowski should lead the way.  Pawlowski and Demino should provide some strength to the middle of the order and Goucher has moved from the infield to behind the plate and the transition has been smooth so far. Keep an eye out for 2017's Eddie Harris to add stability to the lineup and Davaughn Reid to also provide depth.

On the mound senior Brandyn Vogstberger should lead the way for the Hurricanes.  Vogstberger has the most experience and is a projectable lanky pitcher that has been up to 86 mph and will anchor the staff this season.  After Vogstberger, the Hurricanes will need to identify the rest of the rotation and some new faces will have to fill out the pitching staff. Keep an eye on the Hurricanes as Vogstberger should give the team a chance to win every time he is on the hill and if they can find the rest of their rotation, could make a splash in the SMAC.
