On Sunday, May 15, the Blue Chips baseball travel organization went through a workout in front of the PBR Maryland scouting staff at Harford Community College. Just under 50 players from the organization were in attendance.

Beck WayBeck Way (pictured, right) was on of the many players from the workout that impressed during the day.  the Cumberland HS (PA) product has a lanky frame and showed of his arm strength from the outfield reaching 92 mph throwing into a tough wind.  Way showed plenty of raw ability, running a 7.04 60-yard dash and fluid actions in the infield as well. He also stepped on the mound and showed projection getting up to 85 mph in his bullpen session.

2018 grad Reilley Tate impressed with his quick twitch speed having the lowest 60-yard dash time at 6.85 as well as the best home to first time at 4.07. 2017 Jimmy Elmore took an impressive batting practice showing gap-to-gap ability at the plate. 2017 Brennan Maher showed off his athleticism being 86 mph from the outfield with a 4.23 home-to-first and a level swing path with quick hands. He also showed projection on the mound from the left side.
