The Fall Review West took place at Saint James School just outside of Hagerstown, MD on Sunday, October 25th.  21 players from around the western Maryland area to showcase their skills in front of the PBR Maryland scouting staff.

2017 OF Ryan Bywaters (pictured) of Smithsburg HS led the way in multiple categories with the best fastball velocity of the day, reaching 88 mph. Bywaters also led all outfielders with a velocity of 89 mph. 2017 SS Jared Carr (Saint James) led the infielder group with a  velocity of 80 mph. McCoy Dutrow of South Hagerstown HS showed the quickest footspeed on the day with a 6.75 60-yard dash.  Finally, 2017 Ryan Downes of St. Maria Goretti put up the highest exit velocity ever at a PBR Maryland event, topping out at 95 mph from the right side.

2016 Jordan Tapley of Smithsburg HS was a very interesting arm on the mound topping out at 85 mph and showing a strong changeup with late sink and fastball arm speed. The uncommitted arm is currently getting interest from multiple Division II institutions.

In depth analysis will follow at the conclusion of the Fall Review in November. For now, CLICK HERE to view the measurable numbers recorded during the course of the day for all players in attendance.
