The Parkside Rams explode for 13 total runs in the second and third innings to pull away from Snow Hill 14-2 in non-league action on Monday.  La’Bron Hilliard goes 2-for-3 with three RBI to pace Parkside offensively.  Hunter Parsons hits a home run and collects two RBI in the winning effort as well.  Dalton Swanger threw three innings giving up one hit with four strikeouts for the Rams.  The wins moves Parkside to 4-0 on the year.
Zach Donoway led the Snow Hill offense with a hit and one RBI in the losing effort.

In other games around the state:

B-CC over Poolesville 2-1
Bethesda-Chevy Chase scores two in the bottom of the seventh to defeat Poolesville. Chris Krawczyk pitches 6.1 innings of shut-out baseball striking out eight.  Elliot Ginns goes 3-for-4 with an RBI leading B-CC. Poolesville was paced by Michael Vetter, who went 3-for-3 with an RBI in the losing effort.  Tony Parker had a strong four innings of work striking out three. 

St. Mary’s over Mt. Carmel 18-0
Max Hammond goes 3-for-3 with five RBI to lead St. Mary’s to victory.  The Saints scored 18 unanswered runs on their way to the win.

Paint Branch over Damascus 8-2
Dwayne Thomas goes 3-for-4 with two RBI pacing the PBHS offense.  Bruce Pattishall and TC Conrad each record two hits as well. Steven Vanderzwet goes four strong innings giving up one run and striking out 5.
