Prep baseball Report is proud to welcome Jamie Naill as the Maryland Scouting Director. Naill gets promoted to the position after spending the past two years within the organization.

A respected evaluator and tireless worker, Naill will bring his relentlessness and knowledge of the game to Maryland.

"Jamie has been a tremendous asset to PBR Maryland since he first joined," said PBR Maryland Executive Director Jerry Shank. "He has grown leaps and bounds in his time here as a talent evaluator and his work ethic is second to none. His roots are in the state of Maryland and his vision is clear. He is more than deserving of this role and I couldn't be more excited to have him with us."

Born and raised in Westminster, MD; Naill attended Winters Mill HS and was a four year starter before continuing his academic and athletic career at CCBC Catonsville and CCBC Dundalk. After stints in the Junior College ranks, Naill moved on to Shenandoah University where he helped the Hornets win back-to-back ODAC championships, including a region championship in 2019. Naill holds a B.S. in Business Administration - Sport Management from Shenandoah University. He joined PBR Maryland after his playing career as the Maryland Director of Operations and quickly rose to Assistant Scouting Director followed by Mid-Atlantic Cross-Checker.

Now Naill will bring his baseball experience and passion for scouting to Maryland. He will work tirelessly to continue to bring to you the most comprehensive amateur baseball information Maryland has ever seen, and provide scouting coverage to all corners of the state.
