Tournament Recap

The Harford Fighting Owls completed a perfect 3-0 weekend, capturing the NJCAA Region 20 DI Championship, moving on to the District Championship Tournament at Harford Community College on May 14th and May 15th.

The Fighting Owls proved throughout the weekend that not only is the talent extremely rich throughout the roster, but the team has absolutely no quit in them. After winning a close, hard fought matchup with Hagerstown Community College on Saturday night, the Fighting Owls overcame a 9-1 deficit in the first game of the three game series against Potomac State, eventually coming all the way back to win it 10-9 in ten innings.

This Harford squad has the makings to make a serious run towards a World Series, with talent on both sides of the ball and depth throughout the roster. It will be very intriguing to watch them throughout the rest of the season.
