Josh Zuckerman RHP 2022 (Emory)

3.28.22: Got the start for Northwest in their game against a loaded and high powered offense in Churchill. The command was not the sharpest, and pitching in thirty degree weather didn’t help, as the wind was howling throughout the entire game. However, Zuckerman battled and kept Northwest in the game, showcasing a strong three pitch mix with advanced feel for a devastating circle changeup down in the zone. The arm works quick through release, pitching with intent with longer, loose arm action. The fastball plays both sides of the plate, with feel to the arm side at 86-88 topping out at 89 mph. The best secondary pitch that we have seen in the past is the bigger 12/6 breaker, but the feel for the pitch was not on this day, but did mix it in a few times at 71-72 mph. Steven Tameris RHP 2022 (Frostburg State)

3.21.22: The competitiveness and “bulldog” like mentality is always a pleasure to see out of Tameris, as he got the start for Sherwood in their game against Urbana. Pitches out of the stretch with a tough low three-quarter slot through release. The fastball showcases present and consistent arm side run at 82-84 mph, mixing in a tight slider at 73-74 mph. The breaking ball showed promise when in or around the zone, inducing swing and misses throughout the outing.
