Ryan Edmonds RHP 2022 (George Mason)

3.10.22: The George Mason commit possesses a solid 6-foot-2, 215 pound frame with plenty of strength throughout. Creates really nice lower half drive and torque through release with quick arm action from a high three-quarter slot. Showcased easy effort with intent and seemed to get stronger as his outing continued. The fastball exploded out of the hand, with the ability to move it to all corners of the zone effectively at 86-88, topping out at 90. Mixed in a bigger 11/5 breaking ball for strikes at 70-71. Got the start for the Friars in their game against Bishop McNamara, working four innings, giving up two runs on three hits while striking out nine.

Emilio Rodriguez RHP 2022 (Wilson)

3.10.22: The Wilson College commit came out of the bullpen for the Friars, working an inning while striking out two. Command was an issue throughout, however the fastball came out of the hand really well to both sides of the plate at 85-87. The arm works quick through release with longer arm action from a high three-quarter slot. Plenty of athleticism and room to fill out in the frame, with an uptick in velocity in the near future.
