Season Snapshot

Loyola enters 2019 with arguably the best one-two punch on the mound in the MIAA with University of Virginia commit Matthew Wyatt and University of Pennsylvania commit Nate Beal anchoring the staff. Seniors LHP Josh Feehley, RHP Max Glagola, and RHP Austin Mummaw round out a core of five returners on the bump that will look to replace University of Maryland RHP Will Glock's (32 innings and 2.20 ERA) and Carson Barnes' (25 innings and .308 ERA) from a year ago.

Offensively the Dons will rely heavily on Army West Point commit Dominic Dinoto, Swathmore College commit Emmett Reynolds, and Jeffrey Snider to be the main run producers with AJ Holcomb (High Point University), Patrick Krack (Flagler College), Chris McDonaldand Jack Reinhardt all having moved on. Look for the lineup to include a bevy of new faces as they will look to grow as the season goes along under third year head coach Mike Kelly

One year removed from winning the MIAA "A" Conference Championship for the first time in 71 years and following that up with a top 3 finish last season; the Dons may be a little younger and more inexperienced to start, but expect to see them in contention once again for the title in 2019 come playoff time.
