Pitcher of the week

Jon Mierzwa Reservoir HS
Mierzwa had an impressive week on the mound for the Gators in two starts this week.  He racked up two wins in 12 innings of work, giving up six hits and one unearned run with one walk and struck out 19.  Both lead to wins over Long Reach and previously undefeated Mt. Hebron.

Player of the Week

Barrett Smith Archbishop Spalding
Smith was on a tear this week for the Cavaliers, going 7-for-8 with three homeruns, two doubles, eight runs scored, and nine RBI.  Smith’s hot week played a big role in Spalding’s 3-0 week with victories over Gilman, McDonogh, and Loyola.
