Scouting Report (Fall Underclass Invite 11.1.15)
Stout frame at 5-foot-11, 195-pounds. Ran a 7.9 60-yard dash. Hits from a balanced set up. Smooth load with short stride. Level path through the zone with bat speed. Gets extension through contact. Drives ball with gap-to-gap ability. Power potential. Gets lower half involved and has good balance and rhythm throughout swing. Exit velocity of 92 mph. Receives from nice set up. Quiet receiver and sticks ball well. Quick feet and exchange on throws to second. Short arm action throwing from a high ¾ arm angle. Catcher velocity of 82 mph and pop time as low as 1.94.

Scouting Report (Unsigned Senior Games (10.23.16)
Compact frame at 5-foot-6, 140-pounds. Ran a 4.46 home-to-1st. Hits from an athletic, balanced setup. Smooth load and rhythm. Short path to the ball with some lift through contact. Good intent on swings, opportunity to drive bottom half more. Exit velocity of 76mph. Active feet and soft hands in the field. Good lateral movement and angles to the ball. Throws from a high ¾ arm slot with a compact arm action. Throws across the diamond at 73mph.

Scouting Report (Top Prospect Games 6.21.16)
Build up delivery with nice tempo. Long, free arm action throwing from a ¾ arm angle. Creates some arm speed pitching with regular effort. Could get more lower half involvement from backside. Lands square to the plate in athletic position. Fastball has later action on the pitch up to 82 mph. Throws a cutter with short break and later action at 74 mph. Slows arm down slightly on changeup with nice fade on the pitch. Breaking ball has bigger 1/7 action on the pitch and shows nice command with ability to locate backdoor.

Scouting Report (PBR Future Games 8.4.16)
Athletic frame at 6-foot-3, 180-pounds. Continued to show why he is the top uncommitted outfield prospect in Maryland after his workout for team Mid-Atlantic. Athletic actions from the outfield with carry on his throws showing improved arm strength now up at 85 mph. Slightly open set up at the plate. Showed power potential at the plate with a smooth, quick swing that shows ability to elevate and drive the baseball. Reached an exit velocity of 94 mph. Ran a 6.97 60-yard dash.

Scouting Report (Top Prospect Games 6.21.16)
Compact frame at 5-foot-10, 165-pounds. Hits from an athletic set up. Short swing to the ball with some rhythm. Spray type hitter. Quick hands at plate with exit velocity of 86 mph. Active feet in the infield, Clean hands, sound actions, solid fundamentals. Short arm action throwing from a three-quarters slot. Accurate across the diamond at 82 mph.

Scouting Report (Top Prospect Games 6.21.16)
Toppin has a solid frame at 5-foot-9 202-pounds. Hits from an open set up. Simple load with balance and rhythm in swing. Gets lower half involved. Fast bat speed with a level path. Power to pull side and sometimes gets slightly uphill in swing. Has nice rhythm and strength at the plate. Exit velocity of 95 mph. Has a short arm action throwing from a ¾ arm angle. Throws had some carry on them at 83 mph. Still some question as to what position he will end up at, but the offensive ability is there.
