Every Friday National Scouting Supervisor Nathan Rode provides a roundup of insider recruiting information and commitments throughout the PBR coverage area: The Buzz. CLICK HERE to take a look at the latest National Buzz. With that in mind, lets take an in depth look at the Maryland and area prospects who have committed to colleges recently with detailed scouting information when applicable.

Ryan Archibald IF/RHP John Carroll 2018
Maryland
9.1.16 - Has an athletic and projectable frame. Shows nice balance at the plate with some rhythm. Short swing with some extension and look to have power potential from the left side. Barrel stays through zone, and displays nice balance. Consistent on the mound in the 83-86 range and has reportedly been better over the summer. Pounds the strike zone with an athletic delivery and spins a 12/6 breaking ball with depth on the pitch and commands zone well. Showed feel for change.

Maceo Campbell RHP/3B Bishop McNamara 2017
Longwood
3.24.16 - 2017 RHP Maceo Campbell has a solid frame with long arms. Pitches in a controlled delivery, from a high 3/4 arm slot at 82-84 mph. Touched 85 mph twice in the first.  Throws a 73-76 mph slider with short action at the end. Gets under the ball at times, but his arm worked well and looks like he could get more as he gets his body more involved in the delivery and works more downhill on the ball.

Kaleb Cline IF James M. Bennett 2017
Harford CC
Kaleb Cline7.7.15 - Athletic frame at 6-foot, 154-pounds.  Hits from a tall set up. Level bat path with some extension through contact. Has some rhythm and a medium leg kick in load. Gets some usage of his lower half.  Gap-to-gap type hitter with an 82 mph exit velocity. Active feet from the shortstop position.  Could field little more in front of body.  Sound footwork and a clean exchange.  Throws from a low ¾ arm angle with a quick arm action and throws across the diamond were at 77 mph. Ran a 7.62 60-yard dash.

AJ Holcomb SS/3B Loyola-Blakefield 2018
Virginia Tech

Dominic Ragazzo IF Salesianum (DE) 2019
West Virginia
8.24.16 - Soft, smooth hands in the infield. Quick exchange and active feet from the shortstop position. Short, quick arm action throwing from a 3/4 arm slot. Athletic fielder and moves well. Gets rid of the ball quickly. Aggressive swing at the plate. Hits from an athleti set up at the plate. Medium leg kick with short load to hitting position. Level swing path to the ball with some extension through contact. Quick hands and generates fast bat speed. Little bit out of control at times at the plate from his aggressive swing, but there is a lot to like about the athleticism and ability in the field and at the plate of this talented 2019 graduate.

Brady Stamper RHP Appoquinimink (DE) 2017
Liberty
7.22.16 - 6-foot-5 205-pound projectable RHP with more in the tank. Has a durable frame with room to add on. Throws from a three-quarter arm slot with fast arm speed. Fastball shows late life on the pitch up to 88 mph and sits 85-87. Breaking ball has late action with 11/5 shape. Shows feel for a change up with fade on the pitch. Stamper decommittted from D-I school at the start of summer.
