Body: 6’0”, 187 pounds. Strong, solid, athletic body type.
Hit: RHH. Hits from a balanced, slightly closed stance with rhythm. Quick back load, short stride and creates good hand separation. Short to the ball with a more level swing path. Violent swing with intent to do damage. Showed quick hands and fast bat speed through the hitting zone. Stays behind the ball well with strong lower half involvement. Gets great extension through contact and finishes the swing hard with two hands. Really nice middle of the field approach working gap-to-gap during BP.
Power: 89 mph exit velocity from the tee. Ball jumps off the bat. Strength and power present. 
Arm: RH. OF - 76 mph. Throws with long arm action from a high three-quarter slot. 
Defense: Plays through the ball in the outfield and fields it out in front on the glove hand side. Showed quick, clean exchanges with quick, fundamental footwork.
Run: 4.84 home-to-first time.

Strong athletic frame standing 6-foot, 187-pounds. Athletic square stance at the plate, rhythm in the load, and small step to stride landing on line. Level path, line drive tendency, and swings with intent to do damage. Loud contact and finishes lower half with aggression. Exit velocity was 87 mph. Defensively D’Urso works through the catch with a controlled pace, slower exchange and hand break, and long arm circle. Throws from a three-quarter arm slot at 72 mph from the outfield. Ran a 7.51 60.

MD Winter Update

Strong, athletic body type and 6’0’’, 187 pound frame with more room to grow. Hits from a balanced, closed stance at the plate with rhythm. Short, quick, rock-back load and small stride. Creates good hand separation during load and takes straight to the ball. Hands are quick and create fast bat speed through the zone. Swing path is more level and gets slightly uphill at times. Swing can also get long at times. Generates some lower half involvement and gets good extension past contact. Finishes swing strong with two hands and recorded an 84 mph exit velocity. Worked gap-to-gap and showed present strength and power.
