The Hotlist: Potential Super 60 Breakouts

By Nathan Rode and PBR Staff

As part of our preview coverage of the 2017 Super 60, we have a bonus Hotlist that looks at some prospects with breakout potential. While many of these names are fairly well known, they may not be squarely on the national radar. With teams bringing multiple scouts, that could change with a good performance on Sunday.

Dondrae Bremner, SS, Bill Crothers SS, ON
The lone Ontario representative, Bremner has a well-proportioned frame with room to add strength at 6-foot-2, 175 pounds. He’s athletic with confident actions defensively and plenty of arm strength across the diamond. He has the ability to make plays on the run with advanced footwork and hands. His body control and athleticism is evident. He’s an above-average runner and should become quicker as he physically matures. At the plate, he has a short stroke with bat speed. His hands work well through the baseball and he takes a line drive approach while showing gap power. He is well known by area scouts, but has flown under the national radar thus far. He is committed to Cincinnati.
