Close to 30 uncommitted players from the 2020 - 2022 graduating classes came to Salisbury University this year for the PBR Maryland Top Prospect Games East. Tons of talent was on display as each player participated in a pro-style workout and game in front of college coaches from around the region and our PBR scouting staff. Below is an analysis of each of the corner infielders at the event. Stafford Allison 1B / OF / Huntingtown, MD / 2020

Strong, physical body type and 5’11’’, 195 pound frame. Hits from a balanced, slightly open stance at the plate. Creates rhythm with hands and showed some separation in load. Small, controlled stride with little extra movement. Strong lower half and quick bat speed through the zone with a more level swing path. Showed power to the gaps and recorded an exit velocity of 92 mph. Works through the ball at first base and showed a clean exchange to second on double play feeds. Throws from a high three-quarter arm slot with short arm action at 68 mph. Ran a 7.64 60-yard time.


Jason Duey II 3B / 1B / Cambridge - South Dorchester, MD / 2020

Strong, physical body type and 6’1’’, 210 pound frame. Hit from a balanced, open stance at the plate. Creates nice hand separation during load and strides in-line with the pitcher. Slightly uphill swing path with average lower half involvement and some bat speed. Maintains excellent balance throughout swing and finishes with one hand. Has a tendency to hit off front side. Gap type hitter with pop and recorded an exit velocity of 81 mph. Works through the ball at third base with a solid set-up and fields the ball out in front. Quick release at times, other times pats glove in exchange. Throws with longer arm action from a mid three-quarter slot at 70 mph. Ran a 7.56 60-yard time.


Noah Iseman 1B / 3B / Kent County, MD / 2021

Big, strong, physical body type and 6’3’’, 230 pound frame. Hits from a balanced, slightly open stance with a wide base from the left side of the plate. Slight rock back, toe tap load. Strong lower half involvement in swing. Uphill swing path with quick bat speed and turns on the ball very well. Attacks the ball with intent and showed plus pull side power. Keeps hands inside the baseball well and showed good extension past contact with a one handed finish. Recorded a 91 mph exit velocity. Plays with active feet at first base and works through the ball well. Throws with short arm action from a high three-quarter slot at 74 mph. Clean exchanges on double play feeds to second base. Ran a 7.62 60-yard time.


Jeremiah Jenkins LHP / 1B / St. Vincent Pallotti, MD / 2021

Big, strong, physical body type and 6’3’’, 215 pound frame. Hits from a balanced, slightly open stance from the left side of the plate. Loads weight onto back side during load and attacks the ball with intent. Short, quick, uphill swing path with good balance and a strong lower half. Stays behind the ball well with good extension and a strong finish. Showed plus pull side power and recorded an exit velocity of 92 mph. Plays with active feet and works through the ball at first base. Throws with shorter arm action from a high three-quarter slot at 76 mph. Clean exchanges and footwork on double play feeds to second base. Ran a 8.22 60-yard time.


Damion Kenealy 3B / RHP / St. Mary's , MD / 2022

Strong body type and 5’10’’, 145 pound frame. Hits from a balanced, open stance at the plate. Controlled, small, quick load with a minimal stride length. Compact swing with strong lower half involvement. Short to the ball with an uphill swing path. Creates fast bat speed through the zone and attacks the ball with intent. Stays behind the ball well excellent extension and a strong finish. Gap-to-gap line drive type hitter with pop and recorded an exit velocity of 83 mph. Moves well at third base and plays with active feet. Gets around the ball and works through it to first base. Throws with short arm action from a low three-quarter slot at 76 mph. Ran a 8.22 60-yard time.


Ethan Kennedy 3B / RHP / North County, MD / 2020

Lean, athletic body type and 5’10’’, 145 pound frame. Hits from a taller upright, open stance with feet very close together. Medium sized leg kick load with good hand separation. Average stride length landing slightly closed off. Short, quick, level swing to the ball with average lower half involvement. Good extension through contact but stops finish short. Line drive type hitter with occasional pop. Recorded an exit velocity of 83 mph. Gets around the ball at third and works through it to first base. Throws with shorter arm action from a mid-high three-quarters arm slot at 80 mph. Ran a 7.63 60-yard time.


Dylan Nickle RHP / 3B / Perryville, MD / 2021

Athletic body type and 5’11’’, 160 pound frame. Hits from a balanced, slightly closed stance at the plate. Medium sized leg kick load with good hand separation. Showed good balance throughout swing with average lower half involvement. Quick hands and bat speed with a level swing path to the ball. Really nice middle of the field line drive approach. Recorded an exit velocity of 83 mph. Fields the ball deep, close to body at third and funnels it up into an upright position to throw. Throws with long, loose arm action from a high three-quarters slot at 79 mph. Ran a 7.22 60-yard time.


Ben Wieman 3B / RHP / Archbishop Spalding, MD / 2021

Athletic body type and projectable 6’2’’, 175 pound frame. Hits from a relaxed, balanced, square stance at the plate. Small leg kick load creating good hand separation. Short, compact swing with strong lower half involvement. Quick hands and fast bat speed with a slightly uphill swing path. Stays on the ball really well through contact with good extension and excellent balance throughout the swing. Easy swing, gap-to-gap type hitter with pop. Recorded an 87 mph exit velocity. Athletic in the infield at third base and plays with active feet. Moves well, gets around the ball and works through it to first base. Showed some range and throws with shorter arm action from a high three-quarter slot at 84 mph across the diamond. Ran a 7.33 60-yard time.
