We begin our release of the updated Maryland Class of 2022 Rankings this afternoon with a look at the Top 10. It's a fresh new look with a ton of movement including a new number one following a busy summer season. 

We begin with our new number one: Kerry Herndon-Brown out of Georgetown Prep. The highly touted two-way prospect and North Carolina commit jumps five spots filling the vacancy left by Everett Cooper's decision to transfer to the PRO5 Baseball Academy in North Carolina. Herndon-Brown continues to impress scouts across the board with his electric arm, athleticism, and overall impressive measurables.

Our first of two new faces cracking the Top 10 in this update is uncommitted switch-hitting shortstop Ripken Reese from Mount St. Joseph. Reese put up ridiculous numbers this summer showing impressive power at the plate and extreme versatility to play anywhere on the field. He vaults up eight spots to number three.

And rounding out our Top 10 coming off a huge showing at the PBR Future Games for Team Mid-Atlantic leading to his eventual commitment to VCU is Chopticon outfielder Aden Hill. Hill impressed our PBR Maryland scouting staff with the bat at this year's Top Prospect Games West and caught the attention of our National scouts down in LakePoint later in the summer.
