2015 marked the first year players from the PBR Maryland and PBR Virginia areas of coverage formed a team. Many of the players recruitment has picked up since the event. Today we look at 2017 RHP Joey Haass.

What Schools have you been hearing from?
+I've been receiving emails from a bunch of schools since this event. UConn has emailed me very frequently after the event concluded and many other schools included.

Have you been on any visits?
+I have not been on any visits yet, but through this winter leading into this coming spring and summer I am hoping to be in contact with schools and go on some visits.

Do you have any visits scheduled?
+I do not have any visits scheduled as of now.

Have any offers been made at this stage?
+I have not received any offers from any schools yet at this point.

What is your timeline for your decision?
+I hope to commit by the end of next summer leading into my senior year. If one of my top school's jumps at me and shows a good amount of interest with a good offer, through talking with my family I will  make my decision based on that.

Describe your Future Games Experience:
+Attending the PBR Futures games was a great event. I got to interact and play along side and against many very talented baseball players. There were a lot of scouts there and a great place for very highly recruited showcase event. I had a great experience and a lot of fun.

Would you recommend to others to attend the Future Games?
+I would definitely recommend attending the PBR Futures Games, it was a very highly recruited event that will get you a lot of exposure and looks from schools all over the country. It is not a very costly event at all and was an honor to represent Team PBR Maryland/Virginia and be able to play the game I love and showcase my abilities at a high level.

Where are you at academically at this time?
+My accumulated  GPA sits around an 87% which I am working hard to continue to improve. I plan on taking the SAT many times when the new format comes out later this spring.
