Over the next few weeks, leading up to the beginning of the 2025 MD High School season, our staff will be releasing our Preseason Power 25. This list will be comprised of public and private schools across the state that we feel have a strong chance of being successful in 2025.    

#20 Quince Orchard Cougars   

"The Cougars exceeded my expectations a year ago, and the return of their top two arms with a plethora of impact bats should make for 2025 to be yet another intriguing year for Coach Simko's squad. The depth on the bump will be the question mark, as some younger talent will need to step up and eat innings on the back end, allowing this offense to take over when Jack Kodrin and/or Justin Wu are out of the game. This offense has the potential to open eyes once again this spring, as the return of Josh Tseronis and other top-end senior talent should make some noise throughout the order. Keep eyes on a special sophomore in Shane Beebe, a standout for us in the preseason that looks to take that next step in 2025."
