Over the next few weeks, leading up to the beginning of the 2025 MD High School season, our staff will be releasing our Preseason Power 25. This list will be comprised of public and private schools across the state that we feel have a strong chance of being successful in 2025.    

#10 Brunswick Railroaders   

"It's certainly exciting to be a Railroader, as Brunswick took home the 1A State Title in 2024, and all signs point to another strong year in 2025. Maryland commit Ty Kaunas transferred in a year ago and took the state by storm, showcasing a profound ability to impact the game in every facet. Brunswick returns Kaunas in 2025, and adds some pieces on offense that should only boost their offensive ability. Junior Hunter Reed transfers in and should add plenty of thump into the clean-up spot behind Kaunas, and look for Sophomore Carter Vinar, a silky smooth defender and left-handed stick that should add some depth in the bottom tier of the lineup. Senior Colin Pearre and Junior Nathan Borawski return as the top two arms, with Kaunas filling the closer role once again in 2025. This team opened a ton of eyes a year ago, and we see another deep run in store for the Railroaders in 2025."
