Over the next few weeks, leading up to the beginning of the 2025 MD High School season, our staff will be releasing our Preseason Power 25. This list will be comprised of public and private schools across the state that we feel have a strong chance of being successful in 2025.    

#12 Stephen Decatur Seahawks   

“The powerhouse of the Eastern Shore, Coach Ferro returns some key pieces from last year’s team that made yet another state semifinal appearance, and will look ahead at a significant group of young talent to power this Seahawks team back to contention once again. Look at the lineup to once again produce at a high level led by a premier ace in Nate Berzonski. Innings will need to be filled following last year’s departures, but the Seahawks possess the arm talent to simplify that process. If the back-end of the Decatur rotation can be consistent and the offense produces against top-tier arms, expect another season full of fireworks.”
