Over the next few weeks, leading up to the beginning of the 2025 MD High School season, our staff will be releasing our Preseason Power 25. This list will be comprised of public and private schools across the state that we feel have a strong chance of being successful in 2025.    

#18 Broadneck Bruins   

"The Bruins return a majority of their impact players from their 15-5 team a year ago, with a nice variety of upperclassmen and underclassmen. Coach Skrenchuk has plenty to be excited about in 2025, as the Bruins return four standout seniors, one being their "ace" on the bump and a slew of talented seniors on offense. The difference-maker we see this spring is another year of experience from their two standout Sophomores in Avik Cherry and Cooper Mengel. Both Cherry and Mengel should provide a huge impact on both sides of the ball, and if the Bruins look to find success again in 2025, these two will need to make a huge impact."
