Over the next few weeks, leading up to the beginning of the 2025 MD High School season, our staff will be releasing our Preseason Power 25. This list will be comprised of public and private schools across the state that we feel have a strong chance of being successful in 2025.    

#4 John Carroll Patriots   

"It should be another interesting year for the Patriots of John Carroll, as this roster looks as deep and talented than ever as we head into the spring. Will Rhine is back from injury and should add consistent thump to the middle of the order with the likes of Casey Carpenter, Dallas Brooks, Joey Coudon, Drew Jourdan, Miguel Leon and a slew of other talented bats. The pitching staff will be the key for a deep run through the MIAA for John Carroll, as it is every year. The Patriots two-headed monster in Pierce Quinn and Brooks Mueller will need to be dominant if JC wants to make a run at Spalding at the top. If there has ever been a year for John Carroll to win the MIAA, this very well may be the year to do it."
