Over the next few weeks, leading up to the beginning of the 2025 MD High School season, our staff will be releasing our Preseason Power 25. This list will be comprised of public and private schools across the state that we feel have a strong chance of being successful in 2025.    

#6 Sherwood Warriors   

"One of the perennial powerhouses across MoCo, Coach Davis' squad enters 2025 with high hopes of making a deep run for a state title. One of the deepest and more balanced rotations in the state, Sherwood has the luxury of turning the ball over to a plethora of experienced and reliable arms, both from the right side and the left. The offense should be exciting as always, led by their talented upperclassmen with a nice mix of raw power and high contact ability throughout. The Warriors seem to always be the team to beat across the state year in and year out, and the way this roster looks on paper, and adding in their storied history and experience should see Sherwood make another deep run."
