Over the next few weeks, leading up to the beginning of the 2025 MD High School season, our staff will be releasing our Preseason Power 25. This list will be comprised of public and private schools across the state that we feel have a strong chance of being successful in 2025.    

#7 Loyola Blakefield Dons   

"One of the more intriguing pitching rotations across the MIAA, the Dons return a plethora of top-end arms with experience that allow depth on both the front end and the back end. Offensively, look for Derek Seiss to lead this offense with a slew of exciting underclassmen vying for key AB's with depth spread out throughout. On paper, this pitching staff has the makings to match up with any staff across the conference, and if the offense can consistently produce sparks, look for Loyola to make a run at a conference title."
