It is that time of the year once again, as our staff updates the Class of 2025 across Maryland and Delaware for the first time this year. This update is not an extensive one, as we do not expand the rankings, however, do bring the class into better focus after the preseason. Below, we take an in-depth look at the Top 100 and highlight three players that are ones to watch as we head into the spring season.

Nathan Wines RHP / 1B / ARCHBISHOP SPALDING HIGH SCHOOL, MD / 2025

Our staff got a chance to see Wines in a Procase in early February, and it was impressive to say the least, leading to a jump in the rankings this update. The 6-foot-3 East Carolina commit enters the 2025 spring with a new role in this loaded rotation, as Wines looks to fill that "ace" role throughout the spring. The fastball explodes out of the hand, now sitting comfortably in the low 90s with still plenty left in the tank, as we see this fastball creeping into the mid 90s as the warmer weather enters Maryland. The slider/changeup combo was the most impressive, showcasing late, sharp break with the spin in the upper 70s and killing spin on a harder, late fading changeup in the mid 80s. This is a high ceiling arm in this loaded draft class, and a huge spring may lead to Wines' name be thrown around nationally come summer time.

Dallas Brooks C / 1B / JOHN CARROLL SCHOOL, MD / 2025

Brooks enters his senior campaign as the top uncommitted player in the class, and we see this as being fuel and motivation as he navigates the 2025 spring. A smooth, controlled violent hit tool with power potential to both gaps, the left-handed hitting backstop is poised for a breakout year with John Carroll. The defensive actions have always caught our eye and continue to make strides, showcasing above average arm strength with quick and agile footwork. As the spring rolls on, look for Brooks to add some consistent power and keep his high average ability in the middle of the order.

Billy Neumann RHP / OF / Salesianum, DE / 2025

A huge riser inside the top 30 of this update, Neumann opened plenty of eyes at a preseason scout day in Pennsylvania this February and should build off of that performance this spring. Still uncommitted, it's an athletic 6-foot-2, 180-pound right-hander with four pitches thrown for strikes. The fastball lives consistently in the low 90s with up to 13 in. of arm side run, coupled with a devastating upper 80s/low 90s sinker with up to 20 in. of arm side run. The slider plays tight and effective when down in the low 80s, mixing well off a fading changeup down. This is certainly a hot commodity across the Mid-Atlantic that college coaches need to get out to see this spring.
