This week we release a full, in-depth, and expanded update to the 2025 class. This update gives a small expansion from 200 to 225, which will be the final cap to the total number of ranked players in this class. Below we highlight a few players that our staff had an opportunity to gather evaluations on this summer.
Sliding inside the top 3, left-handed pitcher and University of Maryland commit Austin Weiss (Georgetown Prep) followed a dominant spring with arguably an even bigger summer across the country. Standing at a durable, athletic 6-foot-1, 190 pounds, Weiss has added proportional strength over the summer that has allowed the fastball velocity to continue to climb, now sitting comfortably in the low to mid-90s. The slider continues to make strides, showcasing tighter sweep in the mid-70s with swing-and-miss capabilities down in the zone. As feel for the zone and strike percentage rises, look for the southpaw to continue to climb 2025 draft boards as the months continue.
Statement performance from ‘25 Austin Weiss (MD) who punched 6 in 2 innings.

Relaxed delivery w/ FB that jumps out of the hand. Tighter sweep to breaker w/ AA likelihood. Low pulse athlete. Easy.

Outfielder and James Madison commit Will Haacke (Calvert Hall) has steadily climbed the rankings over the past few updates and a standout performance at this year's Mid-Atlantic Procase sees yet another rise inside the top 15. Possessing a strong, projectable 6-foot-2, 170-pound frame, the tools jump off the page, showcasing above-average speed (6.58 60-yard) and arm strength (92 mph OF Velo) to go along with a hit tool that continues to show added strength and power to the gaps. As the approach and confidence at the dish continue to rise, look for Haacke to be a marquee name to watch over the next few months.
