It is that time of the year once again, as our staff updates the Class of 2026 across Maryland and Delaware for the first time of 2025. This update sees slight movement in the top 10 with substantial movement throughout the Top 100 following the winter events. Below, we take an in-depth look at the Top 100 and highlight three players who are top players to watch as we head into the spring.

Reese Davis RHP / Severna Park High School, MD / 2026Rankings StateRank: 30 / POS: 9
One of the many standout arms at this year's MD Preseason All-State II, the big 6-foot-2, 190-pound righty adds him name as one to watch this spring across Maryland on the bump. It's a repeatable operation with ease in the delivery, running the fastball into the upper 80s with the ability to showcase feel to both sides of the plate. The breaking ball has more of a slurve shape, working down and away to the glove side with some promise as it get sharper and spin gets tighter. The changeup could be the difference maker, working it in the low 80s with dive action down. As this frame fills and the body matures, this arm has the makings of becoming a high ceiling, high velo arm that should garner a ton of attention this spring.

Blake Bunting OF / James M. Bennett High, MD / 2026Rankings StateRank: 68 / POS: 17
A player that has been on our radar throughout his high school career, Bunting sees yet another rise inside the rankings in this update. A proportionally strong 5-foot-10, 180-pound middle infielder, the left-handed hitter does not get cheated at the dish, and the consistent ability to create backspin to the pull side is soemthing that always grabs our attention. It's a high contact bat with power continuously being added that should transfer in-game this spring.

Noah Vasey OF / Archbishop Spalding, MD / 2026Rankings StateRank: 71 / POS: 18
It was our first look at Vasey at the MD Preseason All-State II in February, and the athletisicm and raw strength certainly jumped out. Possessing a physical 5-foot-10, 175-pound frame, the hit tool produces loud barrels consistently, reaching upwards of 99 mph exit velocities with relative ease. It's a gap-to-gap approach with power upside still increasing as the body matures. This is an athletic makeup player that also adds a run tool (3.8 30-yard) that should transfer to in game. This spring is a big one for Vasey and we anticipate the athletic outfielder to produce for Spalding.
