This week we release a full, in-depth, and expanded update to the 2026 class. This update gives a small expansion from 125 to 150 players, as the class comes more into focus after a busy summer. Below we highlight a few players that our staff had an opportunity to gather evaluations on this summer.
Osiah Kelley RHP / SS / Sussex Central, DE / 2026The number one player remains the same, as Osiah Kelley holds his spot as the top player in the class after yet another standout and impressive summer campaign. The arm was on full display at this year's Future Games, showcasing feel for the fastball to both sides of the plate in the low 90s with advanced feel for the changeup down in the zone. The hit tool continues to make strides, showcasing the ability to spray line drives to both gaps with some added strength that has provided evident power upside. A two-way player with plenty to like on both sides. Video Embed

Arian Vargas RHP / Archbishop Spalding , MD / 2026Sliding up to No. 2, Arian Vargas had one of, if not the most impressive summers of any arm in the state, all culminating with a dominant performance at this year's Future Games. It's a power arm, working the fastball consistently in the low 90s with the ability to create whiffs in the zone. The breaker continues to make strides and has shown life as being a plus pitch, working well off the fastball with some swing-and-miss tendencies in and out of the zone. High-waisted, physical frame. Vincent Evans III OF / LHP / Seaford, DE / 2026Rankings StateRank: 17 / POS: 6
Yet another rising two-way that sees a jump inside the Top 20, Vincent Evans possesses some of the most athleticism and raw ability in the class, and a strong showing on the bump at this year's Future Games opened a ton of eyes. We have seen the velo tick up this summer, working in the upper 80s with increased feel for the breaker. The hit tool shows flashes with some increased power to the gaps, showcasing the ability to spray line drives to the opposite field gap. Video Embed
