2015 Future Games: Team Michigan Complete Analysis

July 30th through August 1st, PBR Michigan took a select team of players in the 2017 and 2018 class to represent Michigan at the PBR Future Games in Indianapolis at Grand Park.

The players received exposure unlike any other event for underclassmen. This year, 170+ scouts from 100+ colleges and MLB organizations from all over the country were in attendance, including coaches from every Division I power conference in the country. There were some of the strongest universities present at the event, here are just some of the names. Vanderbilt, LSU, TCU, Louisville, North Carolina, South Carolina, Arizona State, Clemson, Virginia, Wake Forest, Oklahoma State, Arkansas, Mississippi State, Central Florida, Virginia Tech, Duke, Boston College, Tennessee, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio State, Michigan State and Michigan among many others.

Future Games Prospect Analysis: Blake Dunn

Height/Weight: 5-foot-11, 175 pounds
High School: Saugatuck
Summer Team(s): Arsenal Baseball

Future Games Evaluation: Two way threat that played five positions during the weekend. Stood out on the mound, delivering a 3/4 86-88 mph fastball, touching 89 mph with effort. A late breaking slider is his go to out pitch at 76-78 mph along with a sinking 75-76 mph changeup. Ran a 6.75 60-yard dash. Used little to no stride with a short cut displaying pull power hitting a couple balls out during BP. 89 mph exit velocity. Popped a 2.01-2.06, using quick feet and a fast release.
