Coldwater 1, Niles 4 
Coldwater struck first in the game scoring in the second inning but Niles answered back late in the game scoring three in the sixth inning.  Leadoff hitter Taylor Weldy and Chris Mangus led Niles with two hits a piece.

Coldwater 7, Niles 6
Coldwater earned a split in Game 2 by pounding out nine hits and drawing three walks. Grant Maurer went 3-4 in the win to lead Coldwater.

Mattawan 2, Gull Lake 3
No. 11 Mattawan and No. 13 Gull Lake shared a big stage last night in Gull Lake.  The closely contested game ended with Gull Lake taking a narrow victory.  Despite out hitting Gull Lake 6-2, Mattawan just couldn't close it down as they gave up a three spot in the fifth inning.  Unsigned senior Mitchell Anderson went 1-3 at the plate for Mattawan.  Aaron Fadden, a Grand Rapids commit, and freshman Drew Blakely each had hits for Gull Lake.

No. 7 Bishop Foley 12, Notre Dame Prep 0
Michael Reid and Nate Grys led the Bishop Foley Ventures with three hits a piece.  Garrett Schilling improves to 20-0 in his high school career while striking out 5 in the win.   

Edwardsburg 5, South Bend Clay 13
Maris Marazita walked three times and scored two times while Brett Bowman homered and went 3-3 for Edwardsburg in the loss.  The pitching gave out for Edwardsburg allowing twelve hits and walking three.

Romulus 0, Skyline 9 
Joel Frison and Brody Stevens paced Skyline with one and two hits respectively.  Skyline pitchers combined to strikeout ten hitters on the day.

Brighton 1, Northville 2
In a darkness shortened game, Northville scored two runs in the bottom of the second inning.  Collin McClelland went 1-2 for the Brighton Bulldogs at the plate.  

Bloomfield Hills Andover 3, Auburn Hills Avondale 0
Unsigned senior Marlon Pruitt struck out 16 in a complete game effort. He blanked Auburn Hills Avondale in his school record setting performance.

Parkway Christian, 1, Inter-City Baptist 0
Ryan Stewart was outstanding for Parkway Christian.  He struck out seven and only allowed one hit.  He and Derek Dudek combined for the shutout for the Parkway Christian Eagles.

Utica 10, Troy Athens 8

Taylor Curtis helped himself out on the mound by driving in three runs at the plate.  Nick Brown also contributed three RBI.

Dexter 8, Pinckney 2
Brett Garwood got the scoring early for the Dreadnaughts.  Mackay Little picked up the win for Dexter in a strong effort on the mound.  Little went six innings.
