Game 2

Dexter sent thirteen batters to the plate in a nine-run third inning. In the inning Dexter amassed six hits and capitalized on five errors and took a 12-1 lead after four innings. But Lincoln rallied for three runs in the top of the fifth to extend the game and avoid the mercy rule temporarily. Dexter finally got the "mercy" with Andy McWilliams' (LF, 2013) two-out RBI single in the sixth.

Dexter starter Cole Rize (RHP, 2014) went 4-1/3 innings for the win with Brett Garwood (3B/RHP, 2013) finishing. Rize four runs on three hits, three walks, and five strikeouts.

Dexter got a lot of offense from lots of players.  Greg Goffee (SS, 2013), MacKay Little (DH/SS, 2013) Brennan Maisch (RF, 2013), Ben Bruetsch (2B, 2013) and Derek Seidl (1B, 2014) all had multi-hit efforts for the Dreadnaughts.
