PBR: Why did you choose Henry Ford CC?

Tyshaun: I decided to settle at HFCC, because the school is not too far from home. I’m with 2 other guys that I’ve played with for years that will help me strive for success.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

Tyshaun: I was considering Eastern Arkansas Baptist College, Saginaw Valley, Marygrove College, Rochester College, University of Dayton, Macomb CC, and a few others.

PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you?

Tyshaun: The coaching staff first saw me last year at the Arsenal Games played at Southfield Lathrup.

PBR: What factors played the biggest role in your decision?

Tyshaun: Grades, my family and city played a significant role in my decision. I had a ton of support from the city of Pontiac, but for the most part it was how I’d be able to perform and fit in with the group the team.

PBR: What team do you play for in the summer and what is your most memorable moment.

Tyshaun: I play for the Detroit Eagles in the summer. My most memorable moment was when I learned college coaches were interested in me.

PBR: What were your expectations about the recruiting process?

Tyshaun: My expectations were that it would be simple and I’d have an opportunity to play college ball.

PBR: Who is the toughest hitter that you have faced?

Tyshaun: The toughest hitter I faced was a kid out of Virginia.
