TOP PLAYERS

Alex Darden (sophomore) ... Hit .350 as a freshman and also had a 0.77 ERA in 27.1 IP.
David Lett (senior) ... Hit .437 as a junior; earned All State honors; had 52 hits and 28 stolen bases.
Brooks Reno (senior) ... Hit .342 as a junior.

OUTLOOK:

The Raiders had a fantastic 2013 season and will sorely miss the departed Sterling Sharp, who is now pitching at Eastern Michigan. However, the cupboard is not bare. Darden is ready to step in right now and be the ace. He has shown why he is coveted by Division I programs all over the country. Lett is one of the top offensive threats in the state with his combination of speed and his ability to hit. Newcomers Malik Madison and Harrison Milen look promising. Look for breakout years from senior C Brooks Reno (hit .342 as a junior) and from senior P/1B Rob Chapekis (sub-2.00 ERA as a junior).
