Marra: Future Games Paves Way To Brown

Brown saw the Detroit Catholic Central senior-to-be at the PBR event and interest eventually turned into a commitment by Marra to attend the prestigious Ivy League school. “They saw me at the Future Games and sent me an email,” Marra reflected. “A week after that an assistant coach called me. I was ready to go on a plane to Florida for a showcase and I found out their coach was going to be there. I did well and they became a lot more interested. “I took a visit during spring break this year and they came and saw me during the high school season.” The 6-5 220-pounder then made it official this past week. “This is a unique opportunity to go to one of the best colleges in the world and play the game I love,” Marra said. “It’s a dream come true. It’s not going to be a cakewalk, but in the long run it’s going to help me be successful.” Brown saw the potential in Marra as a major contributor to the program. |
