With more than 120 scouts in attendance, the 14th Annual Super 60 Pro Showcase delivered many highlights by prospects from 19 different states on Sunday, Feb. 7 at The Max in McCook, IL. Throughout the coming weeks we will produce content highlighting the top performers, the biggest risers and much more from the event, but today we take a quick look at the best statistical performances, which includes two event records.

Although statistics only paint a partial picture of how well a player performed, these numbers are pretty telling for early February:

Michigan Insider: Super 60 Recap - Michael Mokma

Michael MokmaPlayer: Michael Mokma
Position: RHP
Class: 2016
State Rank: 4th in Michigan's Class of 2016
High School: Holland Christian
College Commitment:
Michigan State
Height/Weight:
6-foot-7, 220 pounds
Bats/Throws: R/R

Super 60 Evaluation: Mokma throws from an over-the-top arm slot with an effortless delivery. He was 86-88 mph with his fastball, topping out at 90 mph getting good downward action from his 6-foot-7, 220-pound frame. His 12/6 curveball was 72-75 mph, flashing good depth while his slider was 74-76 mph and had late, tight break. His changeup sat 76-79 and he threw it with good arm speed, showing that it can play well off his fastball.

Anonymous Scout Quote on Mokma: “While Mokma was not as sharp as last summer when I had last seen him, which could be due to being immersed in basketball season, it was good to see him top out at 90 mph and show an effortless delivery. He shows a lot of projectability.”

Draft Outlook: Mid-to-Late rounds - will most likely stay in the middle rounds at the highest if he shows refinement of his stuff as the season progresses.

PBR: What are your thoughts on the Super 60?
Michael: It was a lot of fun to be part of an event with some of the best players in the country.

PBR: Thoughts on the amount of scouts in attendance?
Michael: It was a fun atmosphere to throw in. I didn’t really feel a lot of pressure even with all of the scouts that were in attendance.

PBR: Thoughts on this amount of talent in one place at one time?
Michael: It was unreal seeing the talent that was there. With some of the guys, you could tell they were special and that they would go high in the draft.
