Week in Review:
Spencer Schwellenbach is one of the state's top players. In the 2018 class he's the #2 player overall and top shortstop. Schwellenbach is a 6-foot, 175-pound SS/RHP two-way prospect that has garnered a lot college attention. Heading into Memorial Day weekend Spencer was lethal with the bat and threw a few shut out innings as well. He was 9-for-15, 2 homeruns, 6 runs scored, 10 RBI, while drawing 4 walks. On the mound he threw 3 and 1/3 innings allowing no hits, runs, nor walks and struck out 3 hitters.

Name: Michael Mokma
School: Holland Christian

2016

Week in Review:
Michael Mokma is our first repeat player of the week and with great reason. The 2016 Michigan State commit has created a buzz heading into the MLB Amateur Draft and his performance last week only added to it. A the plate he was 8-for-14, 2 doubles, 1 triple, 3 homeruns, and 10 RBI. On the mound he had two appearances. In his first appearance he threw a perfect game in 5 innings striking out 10 hitters. Later in the week he took the mound again throwing a complete game, striking out 8 hitters.
