Fenton vs Flushing - 4/22/19

Brendan Alvord RHP / SS / Fenton, MI / 2021

Report: 6-foot-1, 190 pound sophomore pitching prospect had an impressive game on the mound surrendering one run over six innings of work. Worked his 12/6 breaking curve to get on top of the hitter setting up his fastball. Essentially pitching backwards. Fastball was 80-84 mph, along with a 64-67 mph curve.

Birmingham Groves vs North Farmington - 4/15/19

Clay Emeigh RHP / SS / North Farmington, MI / 2022

Report: 5-foot-11, 145 pound freshman starting on varsity certainly fits in. His game is beyond his years. Started at 2B in a seesaw battle game. In his first AB drove a deep sac fly to LF, following up with a double. Made every play in the field as well.

Westland John Glenn vs Dearborn - 4/8/19

Ahmad Harajli RHP / 1B / Dearborn, MI / 2019

Report: 6-foot-4, 225 pound athletically built prospect worked on the mound with a polished motion with little arm effort. Creates good leg drive off the mound throwing from a ¾ arm angle. In three innings of work racked up five strikeouts, fastball sat 87-88 mph while touching 90 mph seven times on the day. Curve had an 11/5 shape 70-73 mph.

Orchard Lake vs Divine Child - 4/2/19

Brock Porter SS / RHP / Orchard Lake St Marys, MI / 2022

Report: 5-foot-11, 150 pound freshman RHP showed a clean delivery he was able to repeat throwing from a high ¾ arm angle with effort. Commands the zone well with late action on his fastball. Fastball sat 80-82 mph while touching 83 mph on multiple occasions. Big break on his sweeping curve with spotty command. Tight spin on the pitch 68-71 mph.
