Cole Daniels#2 Cole Daniels, LHP/1B, Saline, 2018 (Kentucky commit)
Scouting Report: One of the top prospects in the 2018 class, Daniels has a strong 6-foot-1, 215-pound frame. He has an open stance and uses a leg kick with his load. He showed plus bat speed and raw power while showing a short swing. His exit velocity was 94 mph and he ran a 4.71 home-to-1st. In the field, he showed soft hands with a quick transfer when turning the double play. His velocity across the diamond was 83 mph. On the mound, he throws from a high-3/4 arm slot with quick arm speed. His fastball sits 86-89 mph with consistent late run. His curveball has late, sharp 1/7 action that had good depth as it sits 73-75 mph. His changeup had sink at 81-82 mph as he lowered his arm slot. His curveball is already a swing-and-miss pitch.

Overview: In 2016, the talented '18 two-way prospect comes in at the 4th spot in the state rankings and 81st overall. The Saline product was apart of our 2016 Futures team for Michigan and used that platform to showcase his talents. Look for this two-way prospect to have an outstanding last two years for Saline before heading to Kentucky or beyond.
