PBR Spotlight Game: West Bloomfield vs Bloomfield Hills

West Bloomfield took on Bloomfield Hills in a game that saw two of the top teams in Oakland County. Bloomfield is a young upcoming team that has a record of 7-1. West Bloomfield is veteran-laden club led by Robbie Jones (Michigan State) and Chandler Sedat (Indiana Commit) who helped pace West Bloomfield to a 14-4 victory.

Bloomfield scored first in the 2nd inning scoring three runs. 2016 Christian Jaworski started the inning with a lead-off walk, later scoring as 2016 Matthew Biermann drove a double into the right-center gap.

2015 (unsigned senior) Nick Schneider dropped a bunt single, on a throwing error to first base by the pitcher Biermann was able to score from 2nd. Schneider advanced to third on a balk and was able to score on a wild pitch.

West Bloomfield struck back in the bottom of the 2nd with four runs of their own.

2015 (unsigned senior) Clayton Kowaleski and 2016 Skylar Jeppesen each singled. 2015 (unsigned senior) Aaron Moskovitz's drove Kowaleski home on an RBI double.

2016 Brendan Bilkovic slugged a single through the left side of the infield scoring Jeppesen. On the next pitch, future Michigan State Spartan Robbie Jones roped an RBI triple. 2015 Aakif Lodhi's RBI single scored Jones and he scored on a RBI single off the bat of the future Hoosier Chandler Sedat to put West Bloomfield on top 4-3.

Bloomfield attempted to strike back in the top of the 3rd.

2016 Troy Saruna led the inning off with a single. 2015 (unsigned senior) Perry Klemanski hit a shot to right field but was robbed on an amazing diving catch Sedat who doubled off Saruna at first. Sedat also made a web gem catch to end the inning.

West Bloomfield added two additional runs in the bottom of the 3rd inning. Zach Allread (unsigned senior) singled and was scored on an RBI double by Kowaleski. He later scored on an RBI from Moskovitz.

West Bloomfield once again scored in the 4th. Allread singled and was drove in by Skylar Jeppesen.

In the bottom of the 6th inning the flood gates opened as West Bloomfield scored 7 runs.

2016 Brendan Bilkovic started the inning with a bunt single, Robbie Jones singled and both scored on a two-run double by Lodhi. He scored on an RBI single by Sedat, (2015 unsigned senior) DeShawn Cole singled and both scored on a two-run triple by Allread. Kowaleski singled again scoring Allread, and later scored the game winning run as Moskovitz drove a single through the infield.
