Scouting Report

3/3/18

6-foot-6, 190 pound long projectable prospect is committed to Eastern Michigan. Put up big time numbers on the day, although still a raw prospect shows the high ceiling and big arm. In the OF moves well to the ball with an aggressive throw, at times a bit erratic up to 94 mph. At the plate swings a big stick making hard contact on the lower half of the ball. Raw power at the plate. On the mound cleaned up his mechanics since we last saw him throwing with a loose arm action. Fastball sat 88-91 mph. Hard late breaking curve 72-75 mph and a deceptive 74-76 mph.

6-foot-6, 190 pound prospect RHP prospect has long legs and a loose arm. Was able to touch 88 mph off the mound during the event with obvious rust from the off season. Shows a more developed breaking ball since we last seen him at Future Games 70-76 mph. Flashed a 72 mph change up. At the plate is a raw hitter with power potential, when he squares the ball up. In the OF would project as a corner OF with a live arm.

6-foot-6, 180 pound long legs, and wide shoulder prospect has a ton of upside. Uses a easy motion he repeats each time showing a long loose arm action on the mound. Worked through 2 effortless innings showcasing good command on the hill while the fastball jumped out his hand. Sitting 85-88 mph low in the zone. Plenty more in the tank. Sharp breaking curve that was his out pitch, resulting in lots of swing and misses 70 mph and a slurvy pitch 72-75 mph

3/4/17
6-foot-5, 180 pound long prospect wowed us at the Legacy scout day with an impressive mix on the mound. At the plate used a tall stance with his hands back stepping towards the plate with a short step using a two hand swing with good power pulling the ball. On the mound he worked he steps left leaning to the side, moving into his pivot and leg left. Throwing down hill with a loose arm from a 3/4 angle. Fastball sat 84-86 mph with arm side run. Curve has good depth at an 11/5 angle 70-73 mph and a 72-77 mph change up.
